Physical development of children should start with the basic movements. Using body movements or tools can help child fitted in all aspects of the movement. Physical learning helps children get to know their capabilities and abilities in moving or doing an activity.
Physical learning outcomes will be able to train the child to move, think and have feelings. Physical movement is divided into two movements of fine motor skills and gross motor skills. Fine motor skills is a basic for movement or activity requires children to move either moved using fine motor such as hold, roll, squeeze and others. Gross motor movements such as walking, running, rolling and so on. Movement will train the child’s physical efficiency. In addition, the movement will also cause a child to think. For example when a child knows something of a child will apply the motion directly. This will cause children to use cognitive abilities to solve problems. As a result of the movement will produce children who have feelings. Every child will respond by engaging attitude, emotion and self-concept. There are children who express themselves through movement. Movement practice from early childhood can improve physical development.
Six quality movements namely by H. Doubler like :
Percussive movements such as running show in a clear and powerful. This movement gives quality to the whole body.
Gentle movements but at the same time keeps the body’s energy. For example the movement of the body such as the back and bend.
The movement of the body that provides the quality of vibration is as shaky. When children vibrate their whole body was shaking.
Physical movement of floating or flying birds will affect the body gets a light movement. The body will feel light and easy to doing anything physical movement.
Movements such as rolling will cause movement to become heavy. This is because these movements involve gravity forces the body.

This movement is the result of a combination of successive movements. The body that make movement sequence will provide a quality cross and affect the movement of the body.
The activities of physical movement is the basis of physical development of children. Aimless movement is the natural attitude of children in exploring the environment and these people prefer to move freely without being tied to anyone. The free movement causes the child to receive a boost and gives the maximum response time make the movement in daily activities. Therefore Wall 1981 state physical activity is “making discoveries about what one’s body can do, becoming skilled, inventing ways of getting on and off an obstacle, creating one’s own dance, maybe sharing the creation with a friend are all rewarding experiences.” Basic physical movement will give a physical learning experience for fun and improve their physical development for children.
Basic physical movements had a positive impact on children’s physical development. Among these are the children could appreciate the body. Physical activity teaches children to the concept awareness of spatial, direction and flow. Children will appreciate the body as the instruments.
Children will also learn about the capabilities and abilities of the body to perform a movement. Learning involving physical skills will train the physical ability to reach certain stages in the development of the body. Children will use existing capabilities to explore new movement of movements such as walking to running movement. Indirectly, this movement will increase the physical fitness of children. Clearly shows that the basic movement is the beginning of the physical development of children.
